Summary:

We are searching for a Manager of Compensation -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will direct operations and strategic planning for the compensation design, philosophies and goals of the organization including compensation models for executives, leaders, and the overall workforce. This role also provides strategic guidance to the design of competitive compensation programs, organizational structure, job design/evaluation, and salary administration.

Responsibilities :

  • Leads the staff compensation team, providing operational and strategic direction to staff
  • Ensures that the compensation analysis, administration and processes meets departmental and organizational goals and is conducted in accordance with all federal guidelines and regulations, organizational policies, and Joint Commission standards
  • Manages team members and team activities by establishing guidelines for individual and team performance to ensure desired outcomes and to meet department and organization goals
  • Leads the design and administration of executive compensation program
  • Works closely with senior members of the Benefits Team to ensure competitive design and proper administration of executive benefits program
  • Works closely with the Assistant Director, Compensation to set annual goals and work plan for the Compensation Executive Group (EVPs and SVP- H)
  • Develops positive working relationships with other HR leaders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives, coordination of services, and effective teamwork


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline required
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline preferred
  • CP certification preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in Compensation or related Human Resources field required
  • 3 years formal management/supervisory experience preferred
