We are searching for a Senior EAP Specialist -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide direct Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to EAP clients, organizational leaders, and departments. These services include but are not limited to consultation and training, program development, assessment and referral, counseling, establishment of community linkages, case monitoring, and follow-up.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides full array of EAP services to employees and their families and other organizational entities. Travel to other locations as necessary
  • Responds to requests for crisis services within 30 minutes of page and follows protocol for identifying appropriateness, assessing need, and gathering information
  • Maintains all case/activity documentation in confidential files and/or EAP Software
  • Develops links and maintains a working knowledge and relationship with community resources for referral and collateral assistance
  • Provides consultation services to supervisory personnel regarding employees with unsatisfactory work performance or other issues of concern
  • Monitors paper and online files for compliance with program standards and intervenes as necessary. Immediately responds to chart audits and reports results to manager
  • Follows standard operating procedures and practices for EAP service delivery that ensure client confidentiality, and timely, ethical, and quality services


  • Master’s degree in a social service field required
  • LCSW from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners, LPC from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors or LMFT from the Texas Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists required
  • 6 years direct clinical experience required
  • EAP and management experience preferred
  • Bilingual candidate preferred
