We are searching for a Systems Analyst (Software Asset Management / Licensing) — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will have a role in developing clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Texas Children's Integrated Delivery System.


Experience in the following strongly preferrred:


  • 3+ years’ experience in a software asset management focused role.
  • ServiceNow ticket management or comprable ticketing experience preferred.
  • Software Asset Management tool experienced preferred (ServiceNow, SNOW, etc)

    IAITAM CSAM certification.

  • Monitoring licenses to ensure they are in compliance with organizations specifications and requirements, audit and ensure corrective actions have been comppleted.
  • Advise and define license recommendations that support business goals, in collaboration with vested stakeholders and management.
  • Developed, implemented, and refined IT asset management policies, processes and procedures
  • Perform software audits.

Responsibilities :

  • Translate users’ needs into detail requirement specifications.
  • Support the system installation through the implementation cycle
  • Perform configuration analysis for system design associated with small and less complex projects
  • Analyze system problems and modifications
  • Coordinate implementation and upgrades of systems
  • Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations
  • Develop, schedule and facilitate test plans for hardware, network, integration, user acceptance and parallel usage
  • Demonstrate efficiencies of the new system and provide feedback to teams
  • Facilitate design analysis with users to determine configuration for the user interface
  • Evaluate business procedures and problems for process improvement
  • Analyze impact on users and determines if additional training is required
  • Identify and document the data sources, recipients, and interfaces that need to be developed to support data collection and maintenance (including data conversion requirements and how start-up data will be collected for implementation)
  • Recommend modifications to application design or current procedures to maximize advantages of existing resources



  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 4 years’ experience in information systems required
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry required
  • Knowledge of current business practices and computing systems, interfaces, and hospital standard software required
  • Experience with project management and planning
