We are searching for a Senior Systems Analyst -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will have a major role in developing and implementing Epic application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Texas Children's Integrated Delivery System.

Responsibilities :

  • The role will involve leading the design workflow, building systems, writing test scenarios, and training a small group.
  • Translate users’ needs into detail requirement specifications
  • Facilitate and support Epic system installation through the implementation cycle
  • Perform configuration analysis for system design
  • Analyze system problems and modifications
  • Coordinate implementation and upgrades of systems
  • Participate in the IDS Committee as an IS representative
  • Develop, schedule and facilitate test plans for software, network, integration, user acceptance and parallel usage
  • Facilitate design analysis with users to determine configuration for the user interface
  • Analyze business use of existing systems to identify problem to be resolved and define system applications or process improvements
  • Represent Epic Application Support as a participating member of designated committee


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business/healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
  • 9 years’ experience for High School graduate, 5 years for Bachelor's degree, 3 years for Masters in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support required
  • Epic certification and/or Epic implementation experience is preferred
  • Bugsy or Orders certification is a plus
