We are searching for a UI/UX Specialist- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will drive the development and fulfillment of digital experiences as defined by marketing strategies. This role plans, directs, coordinates and executes activities related to design and user experience for the organization’s websites and interactive platforms. The UI/UX Specialist interfaces with key stakeholders to ensure project objectives/designs are implemented and optimum customer experience is maintained. This role also serves as day-to-day liason with service lines and IS to drive projects through to completion.

Responsibilities :

• Defines a holistic and engaging customer experience for the organization’s website
• Creates customer experience design and information architecture deliverables, including the development of site maps, wireframes, interaction designs, Web sites, and online forms
• Utilizes skills from well-rounded interactive background to develop aesthetically-pleasing and user-friendly websites
• Understands business objectives, gathers functional requirements and translates into compelling customer-centric designs
• Facilitates and manages discussions for requirements gathering, gap discovery and business process mapping activities
• Partners with IS department and Hospital Marketing to ensure technical requirements and project timelines are met
• Learns and/or further develops knowledge of .NET and leverages this knowledge to assist with implementation and customization of CMS


Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 years interactive design experience including information architecture, user experience, web site development, content management systems and new media required
• Experience with Drupal 8
• Working knowledge of SQL preferred
• A portfolio and project examples that demonstrate ability as a user experience specialist is required
