We are searching for a Senior Financial Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist department in maintaining framework in which our client’s financial and statistical performance can be continually measured against quantifiable targets established by all levels of authority ranging from departmental managers to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepares financial and statistical reports and monitors trends and variances
  • Prepares and analyzes reports identifying differences between current actual results, budgeted targets, and prior year actual results
  • Assists in preparation of financial models
  • Reviews monthly closing entries prepared by accountants and assistants for accuracy by established departmental closing deadlines
  • Coordinates, develops, and maintains budget systems
  • Collects financial data (both manually and automated) from several institutional databases and systems
  • Performs special projects as required by supervisor
  • Participates actively on teams and/or committees as requested by management
  • Attends budget council and regional workgroup meetings as requested by management

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related business field required
  • 5 years’ financial or accounting experience required
  • A master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business may substitute for two years of the experience requirement
