Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Desktop App Integration Analyst-- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide guidance and support to the Platform Engineering team. This role initiates process and performance improvements within the team improving the computing environment to meet customer needs and proactively plans for the future by introducing new technologies and more efficient processes to increase productivity. This role also advises team members, analysts, and management on technical and procedural matters.



Responsibilities :

  • Provides guidance and support to the Platform Engineering team
  • Ensures accuracy of data and operational standards are met, reviewing/documenting procedures for accuracy and operational efficiency-recommending changes as required, and analyzing complex system problems as needed-making recommendations to ensure against reoccurrence
  • Designs, implements, and maintains a standard desktop platform for business and clinical applications
  • Develops Quality Assurance (QA) processes to provide assurance and credibility that workstations and deployments function correctly
  • Takes a leadership role in the development of customer-oriented solutions. Listens to customer and takes appropriate action
  • Manages and maintains deployment systems. Monitors system performance and ensures acceptable deployment success rates
  • Performs technical analysis and resolution of application and hardware issues related to the desktop environment

Assists manager in monitoring work queue daily and may assign work to team. Ensures Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the team are met by providing agreed-upon metrics to the leadership team



Qualifications:

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical diploma in a computer-related field preferred
  • 7 years’ experience in desktop support virtual desktops, application scripting, software packaging and/or distribution required
