Summary:

We are searching for an Asthma Educator-- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will promote optimal asthma management to patients, families, and other healthcare workers.

Responsibilities :

  • Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Biology, or related field required
  • Certified Asthma Educator credentials from the NAECB preferred
  • Certification as an Asthma Educator through the NAECB within one year of entry into position is required
  • A current license to practice respiratory care in the state of Texas and be recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with two (2) years of related experience is required
