We are searching for a Senior Communications Specialist -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will serve as writer, editor and content creator for internal and external print and digital communications.

Responsibilities :

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as contributor for newsletters and internal communications, manage content, timelines and distribution of assigned communications vehicles
  • Guide, coordinate and work with designers, photographers, videographers and other creative specialists to produce print and digital deliverables
  • Develop strategic communications plans and presentations to promote and advance organizational initiatives, goals and priorities
  • Take ownership of production schedule for assigned deliverables/projects. Ensure contributions are on schedule, deadlines are met and budgets for assigned deliverables/projects are maintained
  • Coordinate with vendors to assist in maintaining financial records, tracking purchases, invoices and payments
  • Contribute to writing or editing executive communications, under direction of director, including blog posts, letters, emails, scripts/speeches, presentations and other communications as needed for the CEO and clinical and administrative leaders throughout the organization
  • Attend executive events, coordinate details related to the proper display and execution of speeches, presentations, videos and power point presentations

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 years related experience in news media, corporate communications or publishing required
  • Previous Healthcare or Health Plan experience preferred
