We are searching for a Director of Business Operations & Support Services, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you will effectively direct the support services and business operations functions, which may include Food Services, Plant Operations & Maintenance, Environmental Services, Supply Chain Services, Security Services, Business Operations, as well as the clinical operations of Pathology, Pharmacy and/or Radiology. You will also lead and oversee efficient and cost-effective support services across the Hospital, including overseeing collection processes for patient and guarantor information to support an effective revenue cycle process.  Provide leadership, direction and support to the continued development of strategic initiatives, including business plans to support these initiatives. Provide outstanding customer service, develop strong relationships with executives, directors and all other leadership positions across the organization, identify and resolve problems quickly and appropriately, and ensure communication is maximized.

Required:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare, or related technical field required
  • Professional Engineer license preferred
  • 5 years management experience in a healthcare organization required
  • 4 years progressive leadership experience in a large healthcare organization preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to senior leadership in setting the strategic and financial direction for the hospital
  • Manage the Facilities Operations, Plant Operations & Maintenance, and Environmental Services functions ensuring all key processes are aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization
  • Manage the Revenue Cycle Functions, which may include Patient Access (scheduling, registration, admissions), and insurance authorization
  • Develops and grows the competencies of the Support Services and Business Operations management team through team development, implementation, and support of the specific training for the various responsibilities
  • Manages Pharmacy Clinical Operations, including ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, quality standards and audits related to safety, and pharmacy care delivery
  • Oversee operations regarding personnel, electronic security systems and equipment, access control measures and related customer services
  • Manage the Food Services functions ensuring all key processes are aligned with the goals and objectives of the organization
  • May direct quality initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Medical officer, physicians, and departmental directors. Ensures compliance with regulatory and quality standards and audits related to radiation safety, laboratory, and/or pharmacy services
