We’re looking for a Manager, Respiratory Therapy Neurophysiology, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will manage and lead daily clinic and personnel activities as it pertains to Respiratory Therapy, Sleep, EEG, and EMU. The Manager coordinates the delivery of high quality, family centered and developmentally appropriate patient care at the clinic level.

Job Duties & Responsibilities 
•    Manages daily operations of assigned areas, including, but not limited to customizing operations, aligning operations with the main campus departments, creating, and overseeing annual capital and operating budgets, and monitoring financial performance and billing. 
•    Staff scheduling/productivity: Monitors staffing requirements and productivity levels by establishing staffing guidelines based on patient needs and budgetary guidelines within review at least annually. 
•    Provides respiratory direct patient care as needed. Consistently demonstrates exceptional clinical skills; anticipates and responds promptly to clinical needs of the staff; willingly and readily assists in the clinical areas when indicated; frequently works in the clinical areas to interact with staff at bedside, demonstrates correct procedures and builds rapport with staff. 
•    Manages human resources through hiring, developing, and coaching competent staff and investigating/resolving all employee, patient and physician complaints and concerns. Completes timely performance appraisals for direct reports. Provides structured feedback for each staff member through yearly development plans and informal and/or formal follow¬ up at least twice a year. 
•    Ensures regulatory compliance of assigned areas by all accrediting bodies including JCAHO, CLIA, OSHA, ADA, TDSHS, and CAP. 
•    Conducts special projects as needed for Administration. 
•    Performance Improvement: Ensures delivery of quality, cost effective patient care within the family-centered care environment by participating in and/or leading one (1) performance improvement activity a year that improves patient flow, customer satisfaction or employee satisfaction. 
•    Strives to achieve the goal of accreditation through the following: 
•    Ensures that JCAHO requirements specific to your department are fulfilled but also understands the linkage between your department's requirements and those of the integrated delivery system. 
•    Collaborates with colleagues in other departments to ensure all JCAHO requirements are met. 


As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards. 


Skills & Requirements 
•    Required bachelor's degree     
•    Preferred master's degree in MHA, MBA, or supervisory background 
•    Required RCP - Lie- Respiratory Care – RCP by the State of Texas and RRT CERT - Cert-Reg Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care 
•    Required 3 years of Health care experience
