We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Project Lead / Front-End Email Developer, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, the project lead drives the development and fulfillment of online marketing strategies as defined by department leadership. You will lead, plan, direct, coordinates and execute activities related to design, programming, content oversight, security and user experience for Texas Children's mass email and digital fundraising platforms. 

Any Experience With Litmus, Blackbaud CRM, Or Luminate Online - Highly Preferred

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  •  Serves as team Luminate Online expert and lead developer for Texas Children's fundraising websites, transactional forms/pages, and email.
  •  Works with management, creative teams, outside vendors and IS to develop deliverables, such as email, forms, websites and other online elements.
  •  Provide leadership in developing optimized, aesthetically-pleasing and accessible email/digital communications.
  •  Lead implementation, production and sending of high-volume email.
  •  Performs quality assurance review across team deliverables.
  •  Participates in direct marketing planning sessions to discuss testing and optimization of email campaigns.
  •  Facilitates and manages discussions with requestors to determine goals and objectives of the request, gathers requirements, sets expectations and develops project strategy.
  •  Works with content developers on content strategy as it relates to Texas Children’s email and fundraising platforms.
  •  Leverages knowledge of emerging digital trends related to email, digital fundraising and web development.
  •  Oversees projects to completion on-time and within any budget constraints.
  •  Serve as analytics expert for email and fundraising sites.
  •  Assists in the development of team documentation.

Skills & Requirements Bachelor's Degree

  •  4 years' experience required in interactive design experience including information architecture, user experience, web site development, content management systems and new media
  •  2 years' experience in leading teams or projects preferred
  •  Expert knowledge of Luminate Online including solid understanding of reuables, wrapper development, transactional pages, constituent/record management, and TeamRaiser. Able to troubleshoot LO issues that arise.
  •  Comfortable documenting process and training other team members when needed.
  •  Experience building responsive websites HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery. Cross-browser compatibility.
  •  Strong experience developing responsive transactional webpages and forms including frontend development of a user interface
  •  Experience sending high-volume mass emails, understanding of list management and suppression
  •  Experience with reporting on mass emails and transactional pages
  •  Strong skills in UI/UX design and visual design skills as they relate to the digital experience
  •  Experience setting up and reporting with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and UTM codes
  •  Experience with a test/development environment, version control, developer best practices, digital best practices, and documentation
  •  Strong communicator, customer service oriented with experience in a high-volume production environment
  •  Strong skills in coding environments, Adobe software, and Microsoft Office
  •  Experience with Litmus a plus.
  •  Must be independently motivated, able to work with a variety of people and able to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines; as well as a strategic thinker—willing to search for ideas, establish and complete plans.
  •  Strong project and organizational skills as well as good written communication skills.
