We’re searching for a Maintenance Technician -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting, carpentry, and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Performs preventative maintenance and repairs for multiple systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by management team. Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs to facilities to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Performs repairs to failed equipment according to established standards and within acceptable timeframes.
•    Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving maintenance duties for multiple systems and equipment according to standards established by management team. Demonstrates troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    Demonstrate technical knowledge depth on multiple pieces of equipment and associated systems according to standards established by management team. Demonstrates basic electrical knowledge and meter usage. Demonstrates Fire Safety knowledge such as fire extinguisher designations and usage. Demonstrates  work product meets the expected criteria.
•    Ensures good rapport and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers. Complete activities in a way that maximizes task effectiveness and minimizes customer impact.
•    Ensures effective communication as demonstrated by maintaining good rapport and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers. 
•    Demonstrates ability to create and process purchase orders. Demonstrates that inventory under individual craftsman control meets orderliness, labeling and quantity standards.
•    Consistently demonstrates positive, responsible leadership and guidance.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Skills & Requirements
•    Required H.S. Diploma or equivalent
•    Required 3 years' experience as a general maintenance service-related Technician. Preferred Hospital experience.
