We are searching for a Facilities Project Manager II -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will plan and manage the outcomes of renovation and construction projects for Texas Children's and assist departments in developing estimates and budgets for proposed construction projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Leads project management process through pre-design, funding, design, pricing/purchasing, construction, occupancy, and closeout steps. 
•    Develops project scope based on customer needs consistent with the standards and objectives.
•    Develops project budget utilizing departmental tools to assist customers in identifying and obtaining funding. 
•    Procures external resources to assist with project scope design. 
•    Develops project schedule utilizing departmental tools to outline and communicate project timeline to project team. 
•    Manages internal and external resources to assist in planning, designing, and documenting project design by customer needs, facility standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Manages internal and external relationships through effective communication. 
•    Listens, understands and clarifies the needs of customers. Identifies tools (email, meeting minutes, schedules, etc.) and regularity for effective ongoing communication.
•    Leads and participates in a collaborative team environment to achieve the best possible outcomes. Assembles appropriate internal and external resources to best address situations and challenges at hand. Utilizes expertise of resources to define and resolve issues.
•    Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting a professional attitude, honesty, and integrity. Proactively identifies issues and takes appropriate action to achieve resolution. 


Skills & Requirements
•    Required bachelor's degree. 
•    Preferred bachelor's degree in design, architecture, construction, or project management
•    Required 3 years of experience managing projects in the design and/or construction industries.
•    Preferred project experience in healthcare
