We’re hunting for a Senior Epic Systems Analyst, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will have a major role in developing Epic application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within an Integrated Delivery System.
The ideal candidate for this position has strong technical skills and is a true professional. The technical skills include Windows server administration experience, web-design, and over-all knowledge of IS technologies to allow them to understand issues and assess impacts to Epic. Technical processes including change management, documentation, detail orientation, and troubleshooting are required. Previous experience with Epic Client Systems Administration (ECSA) is required. The attributes of a true professional include being customer service oriented, a team player, self-motivated but willing to take direction and adhere to processes, a need to take ownership of issues, and integrity in all matters.

- Solid Windows Server administrator experience
· Server 2012R2 and above preferred
- Solid network/DNS troubleshooting skills
· F5 experience a plus
- Software Support Experience
· Epic preferred, specifically MyChart, CareEverywhere, and Interconnect
- Experience Supporting Mobile Devices
- PowerShell Experience
- Epic Certifications or Proficiencies
- Epic Client Systems Administrator: BLOB, Business Continuity Access, and Printing
- Epic Client Systems Administrator: Care Everywhere
- Epic Client Systems Administrator: Hyperspace
- Epic Client Systems Administrator: Hyperspace Web and Interconnect
- Epic Client Systems Administrator: MyChart

3 non-negotiable Skills
- Windows Server experience
- Documentation skills and rigid process adherence
- Basic Web Design
- Epic Certifications or Proficiencies in ECSA areas
Skills & Requirements
•    Required H.S. Diploma or GED
•    Preferred bachelor's degree computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or another related field
•    Preferred Epic certification
•    Required 9 years' experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support
•    Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience.  Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.  
•    Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis.
