We’re searching for a Manager of Strategic Sourcing, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you will develops sourcing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders, market analysis, contract development, supplier negotiations and selection of equipment, supplies, services, and construction. With limited direction, this position requires effective team leadership of supplier negotiation strategies, including the ability to develop Request for Proposals, Qualifications and Information (RF(x))'s and review of any procurement contracts. Responsible for obtaining the best products and services at the lowest cost.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Manages, operates, and supervises the Strategic Sourcing Department and its functions: hiring, developing and evaluating department personnel in the procurement of goods and services for the hospital’s entities including TCP Practices, Health Plan, Health Centers, NRI, Pavilion for Women and Hospitals.  
•    Serves as facilitator, owner and driver, of a best practice sourcing/contracting model utilizing leading and standard work processes. Creates a vision for the work team and leads the team in the development of objectives and standards that support the overall objectives and mission of the organization.
•    Communicates policy and procedures to subordinates and user departments and provides the supervision and oversight necessary to ensure that efficient and effective services support strategy development. Assists in implementation of procedures and monitors performance, focusing on continuous process improvement in the assigned area.
•    Oversees and reviews all Competitive Procurements including all Requests for Proposal’s, Qualifications and Information (RF(x)), market research, product research, vendor negotiations and evaluates qualifying vendors for all business units
•    Prepares departmental and institutional reports including but not limited to savings, financial, personnel, productivity, budget, supply usage and benchmarking.
•    Oversees and reviews bids, market research, product research, vendor negotiations and evaluates qualifying vendors for the Hospital including TCP Practices, NRI, Health Centers, Health Plan, Pavilion for Women and West Campus Hospitals.
•    Writes, reviews, and maintains policies and procedures in the areas of strategic sourcing, competitive procurements, contract processing, negotiations, vendor management, contract pricing retention and compliance.
•    Attends and represents the department at internal and external professional meetings. Develops and delivers presentations to all entities of the Hospital. Prepares and delivers presentations to department director, VP and Executive Council and hospital departments when required.

Skills & Requirements
•    Bachelor's Degree Required 
•    CPM - Certified Purchasing Manager by the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) preferred
•    CMRP - Cert-Cert Material/RESORC PROF by the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) preferred 
•    5 years Supply chain experience required
•    Project management experience preferred
