We are searching for a Senior Wireless Network Analyst -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will support Local and Wide Area Networks, and WiFi networks by installing, troubleshooting and maintaining an institutional data network. Our IT team plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity, enabling medical professionals to deliver exceptional care. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wireless Network Analyst to join our team and support our mission.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•    Design, deploy, and manage enterprise Wireless networks to support critical healthcare applications and devices.
•    Perform advanced troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of wireless network performance.
•    Evaluate and implement Wireless security protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
•    Resolve complex technical issues involving network equipment and the software which operates it, high availability applications, clustered hosts, in a multiple protocol, mixed media environment (copper and fiber-optic cabling plants.).
•    Participate in resolution of complex technical issues involving multiple applications, systems and technical teams following Departmental “Crisis Management” guidelines.
•    As applicable, partners with other teams to evaluate and mitigate risks of cyber threats to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
•    Understand and conduct analysis of packet capture data.
•    As needed, engages with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
•    Plans network growth.
•    Installs network hardware.
•    Coordinates establishment of network to host connection.
•    Maintain network documentation.
•    Maintain network equipment and hot spare device inventory.
•    Perform other essential job-related duties.

Skills & Requirements
•    Required H.S. Diploma or GED
•    Required 7 years' experience in information systems
•    Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience.  Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.
•    Current vendor/industry certifications are a plus.

Preferred:

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•    5+ years of experience in Wireless network engineering, preferably in a healthcare or enterprise environment.
•    Strong knowledge of Wireless standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF design, and wireless security protocols.
•    Experience with enterprise-grade Wireless solutions such as Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki.
•    Proficiency in troubleshooting wireless issues using tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet, or Wireshark.
•    Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and security principles.
•    Industry certifications such as CWNA, CWSP, CCNP Wireless, or equivalent are highly desirable.
•    Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and security best practices in healthcare IT.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
