We’re hiring a Director of Finance; in this position you will oversee the financial operations and financial planning at a Texas Children's Hospital North Austin Campus. You will facilitate seamless operations of the hospital's finances through effective oversight of internal controls, reporting, policy implementation, and improving financial processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic and operational financial plans in alignment with the hospital's mission and goals.
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Manage and optimize the cost structure and cash flow of the hospital; identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle to pursue opportunities for revenue enhancement; support improvements in processes related to revenue cycle operations.
• Directly supervise, coach, and mentor staff members to ensure quality, productivity, and functional excellence.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including accounting, corporate finance, vendors, and operations partners.
• Help represent the hospital in financial negotiations and transactions.
• Support strategic planning, business development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of trends, challenges, and opportunities in the healthcare industry and provide financial leadership and innovation to adapt to the changing environment.
Skills & Requirements
• Required bachelor's degree in finance, business, healthcare administration or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Required 7 years' experience in accounting, including 3 years in a leadership role
• Preferred experience in a healthcare organization
