We’re searching for a Law Enforcement Officer, someone who’s ready to be part of a growing team with amazing opportunities. In this position you will patrol, guard, and protect the assets, staff, patients, and visitors of the Hospital, functioning in this capacity as an off-duty Houston Police Department Officer or Supervisor.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Patrols the physical assets of to maintain maximum security and ejects persons from the premises when appropriate.
- Conducts a continuous foot patrol of all buildings and grounds enforcing all applicable local, city, state, and federal laws; monitored by Shift Supervisor and Management Team and documented by shift schedule and rotation schedule.
- Stand guard post in the Emergency Room to protect the assets, staff, patients, and visitors; monitored by Shift Supervisor and documented by shift and rotation schedule.
- Escorts immediately all persons from the property who have been given trespass warnings by TCH personnel; documented by security reports and radio log/calls for service and reviewed by the Director and Assistant Director, Security Services.
- Creates security reports on the appropriate software.
- Provides security escorts for staff and money transfers.

Skills & Requirements
- Required H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred TDR - Texas Driver's License current or can obtain before start date. Driver’s license and driving records are verified and reviewed based on TCH Fleet Safety Policy
- Required Active status as a law enforcement officer for a public agency
- Required valid peace officer commission with the Houston Police Department
