We are searching for a Radiology Supervisor — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. This position will supervise the activities of the Department of Radiology to ensure the performance of quality routine and specialized procedures while ensuring quality patient care. Directly supervises all technical and support employees for the Department of Radiology. This position supervises 5-25 technologists and support staff.

Qualifications:
• Technical diploma from a formal diagnostic Radiology program Required
• R-ARRT - ARRT RegTech Radiography Required
• CMRT - Cert Med Radiologic Techngst OR CNMT - Cert-Cert Nuclear Medical TECH OR CT-NMTCB - NMTCB Computed Tomography OR RDMS - Cert-Reg Diag. Medical Sono Required
• 3 years' clinical experience in Radiology Required
• 1 year of supervisory experience Preferred
• 3 years’ of interventional radiology experience Preferred
Responsibilities:
• Supervises routine and specialized examinations assigns tasks and inspects completed work to ensure compliance with Department standards
• Monitors inventory of Department supplies daily and ensure that established stock levels are met and supplies ordered as necessary, keeping within the budget guidelines, as documented by monthly variance report
• Participate in the process of evaluating new or additional equipment during the annual capital budget planning process, as observed by the manager
• Responsible for the formal performance appraisal process by maintaining performance files on each staff member and assisting with the communication of performance expectations and measurements to staff members and scheduling employees’ work hours, call schedule, vacation requests, and holiday coverage
• Renders first aid when necessary and notifies appropriate personnel of emergency situations, as documented by the quality improvement monitor, manager, or medical staff
• Ensures confidentiality of all patient information and ensures that patient identification is confirmed, and patient information is verified
• Consistently displays a professional demeanor as observed by guests, staff, or manager
• sures daily compliance to all Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures as observed by the manager
• Ensures participation in continuing education and in-service programs by attending section meetings, workshops, and seminars; reads professional publications and reviews procedure manuals; and attends classes
• Monitors the regular cleaning of all equipment following cleaning procedure and manufacturers’ recommendations and ensures clean and orderly work areas daily to foster a safe working environment according to the written safety policies and procedures described in the Environment of Care survey
