We’re searching for a Director of Strategic Partnerships, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of a partnership strategy to support short and long-term goals including innovative partnership models. Lead strategic partnerships that drive the organization's growth and position as a market leader. Identify and cultivate potential domestic and international corporate, healthcare and governmental partnerships that align with the organization's strategic goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish new and enhance existing external relationships to strengthen awareness of Texas Children’s and to create a pipeline of national and international referrals. Partner with peers in Strategy, Business Development, Operations, Finance and Marketing to identify new business opportunities for the organization. Work closely with Legal and IS teams to execute agreements.
  • Plan for strategic growth of international services. Track metrics and key performance indicators for International Services and report these out regularly to senior leadership. Develop business plans as appropriate and recommend strategies for growth and success of International Services, within the context of organizational priorities.
  • Develop a corporate partnership strategy to enhance the destination medicine concept. Establish meaningful collaborations to facilitate access to pediatric and women’s healthcare.  
  • Partner with the international medical directors over pediatrics, surgery and women’s services to create a strategic vision to grow international referrals.  
  • Maintain networks with international organizations and groups outside of for collaboration purposes and sharing of best practices. Develop, maintain and strengthen rapport and collaborative relationships with external parties, such as the embassies of the Gulf Cooperating Council in the Middle East, to promote and encourage international patient referrals.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline required
  • Master's Degree Healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline required
  • 10 years Healthcare experience, including 2 years of supervisory Experience required
  • Previous experience in healthcare leadership and international operations preferred
