We are searching for a Compensation Consultant -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will plan, implement, and assist in the management of the compensation administration for clinical and non-clinical staff and leaders.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for new hire and promotional compensation offers for clinical and non-clinical staff and leaders, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks, internal equity, organizational pay structures, as well as legal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct and contribute to salary survey processes to gather and submit market data to third-party survey vendors, including but not limited to Sullivan Cotter, Mercer, Willis Tower Watson and others.
  • Manage and analyze data for compensation programs and policies, ensuring accuracy, and consistency.
  • Perform regular audits of HRIS data to ensure compliance with organizational standards and support accurate reporting.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams and committees, building strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Offer guidance to leaders on new hire and promotional offers, as well as Special Pay Programs, ensuring decisions are informed by data and aligned with compensation strategy & policies/procedures.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Required bachelor's degree
  • Required 6 months of Human resources, business, finance, analyst, or healthcare operations experience; 2 years of experience with a focus in Compensation, Finance, and/or Analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Understanding of compensation principles, including internal pay structures.
    • Proficiency with HRIS systems and analytic tools, including but not necessarily limited to Oracle, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerBI, MarketPay, JDXpert, and Kronos.
    • Awareness of compliance standards (FLSA, wage and hour laws, pay equity)
    • Intermediate data analysis skills.
    • Familiarity with compensation policies and internal processes.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.
