We are searching for a Business Process Engineer - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will facilitate complex, cross-departmental strategic projects adhering to an established project management methodology and utilizing a variety of process improvement strategies (e.g. lean six sigma tools, data analytics, discrete event simulation, human factors, etc.)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

·        Meet with all stakeholders and other project sponsors, as appropriate, to understand the issues underlying the current or potential initiative – and the type(s) of assessments needed

·        Develop plan for completing required assessment, including project organization, data requirements, involved parties, resource requirements and timeline. Presents plan to project sponsors, modifies as necessary and obtains approval

·        Determine, analyze and formulate current practices, user needs and workflow processes, issues and potential solutions

·        Obtain relevant data/information

·        Analyze, aggregate and assimilate data/information

·        Coordinate resources needed for completion of assigned projects. Includes managing and coordinating data, information and/or personnel

·        Research and summarize market and industry trends for review by the VP and project steering team

·        Research and summarize best practices and innovative management approaches for review by the VP and project steering team

·        Based on results of assessments, or observations made while obtaining information, makes recommendations for consideration by project sponsors. Presents recommendations orally and in writing in a clear, concise format

Skills & Requirements

·        Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Or Health Related Field Required

·        2 Years Experience In Process Improvement, Training, Mentoring, Education, Healthcare (Clinical Or Administrative) And/ Or Project Management Required

·        Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP certification is preferred

·        Proficiency at discrete event simulation is preferred
